Dinwiddie,VA – Kim Taylor (R-Dinwiddie), owner of Titan Auto & Tire, announced her campaign for the 63rd House of Delegates District.
The following statement can be attributed to Kim Taylor (R-Dinwiddie):
“As a lifelong Virginian and small business owner, I am proud to announce my campaign to represent the 63rd District in Virginia’s House of Delegates. Right now in Richmond and Washington, career politicians have ignored their constituents and refused to do their sworn duty. My husband and I have owned multiple auto repair shops in the district, and unlike our current politicians, I don’t have a choice to show up for work, take care of my customers and directly support my employees and their families. In the House of Delegates, I will fight to reopen our schools and businesses, improve access to quality, affordable healthcare, and ensure our Virginia values are protected.”
About Kim Taylor:
Kim Taylor is a Virginia native and lifelong resident. She was born to Linda & John Sutton and raised in Sussex County, Virginia. Kim attended Virginia public schools her entire life and graduated from Sussex Central High. After high school, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minored in Marketing. Following her graduation from VCU, Kim worked with the Richmond Times Dispatch in retail sales for three years.
Kim and her husband Andrew “Butch” are small business owners of two automotive repair shops in South Chesterfield & Moseley, Virginia. Their businesses employ 18 families and provide impeccable service to the customers in their community.
Kim is a mother of one daughter, Alexis, who will soon graduate from the VCU School of Business. Kim lives with her husband Butch in Dinwiddie County and their two dogs and two cats.
